Bleu de Nîmes

With its texture and colour this collection is like the sturdy fabric that was used to make the workers outfits in the city of Nîmes in Provence in the 1900s ..
It was dyed indigo…and was later best known as :
DENIM
Nîmes also happens to be a city close to my heart as close to my hometown.

One version has a “naked’ rim that reveals the clay, thus making it very earthy and natural. The other has a glazed white rim.
